McLean's History
Founding and Early Years

1965: Mack McLean founded McLean's Restaurant at its original location, 4001 West Broad Street.

1970s: Mack McLean sold the restaurant to Hyde and Pat Ingram. The Ingrams expanded, opening another location in the Hanover Industrial Air Park.

1980: A short-lived McLean's outpost opened on West Grace Street in the Fan neighborhood.

The Wagner and Kelleher families

1985: Dionna Wagner (now Kelleher), the restaurant's current owner, began working at the Broad Street location as a server.

1988: Following a divorce, the Ingrams split the business. Pat Ingram took the Broad Street location and sold it to Fred and Sheila Wagner, Dionna's parents.

2008: Dionna officially bought the restaurant from her parents.

2010: McLean's moved a few blocks down West Broad Street to its current location at 3205 West Broad Street.

We strive to provide hearty, comforting meals that taste like they came straight from grandma's kitchen, served with a warm smile in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. As a family-owned and operated establishment, we are dedicated to creating a place where both new and familiar faces can gather to make lasting memories, one delicious meal at a time
